Barbara Browning began her real estate career over 35 years ago while still in her 20’s. In fact real estate was the family business and she owned and operated U. Grant Browning Inc. for many years. She has development and property management as well as a deeply involved background in residential sales and marketing. She marketed and sold approximately 6 developments in previous years, selling over 150 properties in this manner. In 2010, she joined local Village Real Estate as a Broker selling residential properties and land for development, earning awards each year with that company. She then moved to Keller Williams in search of a more global approach to real estate via the international avenues available with this company. She is also a member, one of only 2400 world-wide of the boutique division of Keller Williams known as the Luxury Division, one that has far surpassed Sotheby’s in Luxury sales. Despite her years of experience, she strongly believes in continuing education, holds several elevated designations of real estate excellence and attends several seminars per year to further that end.
Barbara is very devoted to her clients, choosing to only work with a few at a time, thereby offering personalized service in addition to the mobilization of the entire company of 375 agents. Barbara has many of her clients as friends, and most people call her “BB”. She likes to surprise people by revealing that her great-great grandfather was Devil Anse Hatfield, the leader of the Hatfield clan of West Virginia fame. She believes that is where she gets her true intensity of spirit and drive.
